Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Job Summary
Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and creating detailed architectural and structural drawings for precast concrete projects and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in drafting, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and designers.
- Produce comprehensive schematics, diagrams, and blueprints using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and MicroStation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to comprehend project requirements and specifications.
- Create 2D animations to showcase design concepts.
- Prepare drawings for mechanical design, civil engineering projects, and building construction.
- Conduct thorough review of designs for any errors before final submission.
- Utilize software like Civil 3D and other tools specific to project requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of project bids and proposals documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and other CAD software.
- Strong grasp of drafting techniques and principles.
- Experience in mechanical design, building construction, or civil engineering projects.
- Knowledge of 2D animation is a valuable asset.
- Familiarity with tools like MicroStation and NavisWorks is advantageous.
- Possesses meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
