Job Description

• Collaborate in the design and analysis of solar racking structures, inclusive of ground mounts and carports.
• Generate drawings and specifications for structural assignments, taking into account materials, environmental factors, and design prerequisites.
• Provide support in conducting stability assessments to ensure that the structures can withstand wind, seismic activity, and snow loads.
• Work closely with engineers and drafters to develop secure and efficient structural designs.
• Perform on-site testing to ascertain preliminary soil capacity and assist in inspecting existing structures to identify any issues or recommended enhancements.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• On track to obtain the Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with structural analysis software, such as RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, or equivalents.
• Desirable knowledge of Microsoft Office and Revu Bluebeam.
