Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in nuclear or power plant design. This role offers the chance to work on challenging, high-impact energy infrastructure projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced structural analysis and design for nuclear and power plant projects, with a focus on steel and concrete structures.

Conduct detailed site investigations to evaluate and document existing conditions.

Lead construction administration activities, including bid assistance, submittal reviews, site meetings, and final inspections.

Manage projects related to:

Condition assessments of existing buildings.

Structural repairs, rehabilitations, and retrofits.

Modifications to existing building structures.

Investigation and evaluation of structural performance and failures.

Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project documentation.

Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met.

Contribute to professional development efforts such as writing technical articles, giving presentations, and participating in industry events.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Structural Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience designing and analyzing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures in the power sector.

Licensure: Active Professional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with structural analysis software including ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM, and SAFE.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience drafting project specifications, technical reports, and proposals.

Project Management: Ability to meet project deadlines and manage budgets effectively.

Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Travel: Willingness to travel to remote project sites; valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience in the nuclear industry.

Familiarity with industry standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI codes.

Experience in the design and analysis of structures for power plants and industrial facilities.
