• Engage in diverse structural engineering projects related to Nuclear plants, involving materials like steel, concrete, and more.
• The main focus of this role will be to address the repair, rehabilitation, and restoration of existing buildings.
• Conduct thorough site investigations to accurately document and assess existing conditions.
• Oversee the construction administration phase of projects, which includes tasks such as bid assistance, submittal review, site meetings, and observations of completed work.
• Take charge as a Project Manager for various projects, including:
  • Evaluating the condition of existing buildings
  • Developing repair or rehabilitation plans for existing structures and creating construction documents
  • Designing and detailing structural components for modifications to existing building structures
  • Investigating structural failures and addressing performance issues
  • Preparing technical reports
• Maintain direct communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project.
• Participate in professional activities to enhance your professional reputation and standing.
• Contribute to the publication of articles/papers and deliver technical presentations.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures within the Power Industry.
• Hold a Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• A Professional Engineering License (PE or SE) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in writing and editing project specifications, technical reports, field reports, project correspondence, and proposals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
• Aptitude for working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using computer analysis software such as ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE, etc.
• Willingness and ability to travel to remote job sites that may not have public transportation available. A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report, if applicable.
