This fast-growing team has established themselves as leaders in the structured credit practice, catering to a diverse clientele that includes prominent asset managers, equity investors, and top CLO underwriters including major investment and commercial banks. Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

  • Hold a JD from a top-tier law school and possess an exceptional academic record.
  • Hold an active Bar Admission in North Carolina.
  • Have 2+ years of substantial experience in securitization and structured finance, or demonstrate a desire to transition from a strong background in transactional work to Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
  • Prior experience in private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities will be highly regarded, although not essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in large law firms.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on a diverse range of structured finance and securitization matters, with a specific focus on CLOs.
  • Assist a wide array of clients, including asset managers, equity investors, and underwriters, in structuring and executing complex financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with a global team to offer cutting-edge legal services in the structured finance and capital markets field.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance while offering innovative financing solutions to clients.
