Our client, an esteemed AmLaw 50 international law firm, is in search of a highly qualified Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations Associate Attorney to join their expanding and high-performing Global Finance team. This team is renowned for its leading structured credit practice and represents a diverse range of global clients, including some of the largest asset managers, equity investors, and prominent CLO underwriters, such as major investment and commercial banks. Their outstanding practice consistently receives top rankings in Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 US.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- The candidate should hold a JD from a top-tier law school with an impressive academic background.
- Active Bar Admission in Pennsylvania is required.
- They should possess 2+ years of substantive experience in securitization and structured finance, or have relevant experience in transactional law with a strong inclination to transition into Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
- Prior experience in private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- A background in a large law firm is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel on a wide range of structured finance and securitization matters, with a specific focus on CLOs.
- Represent and assist various clients, such as asset managers, equity investors, and underwriters, in structuring and executing complex financial transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with a global team to deliver cutting-edge legal services in the field of structured finance and capital markets.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while offering clients innovative financing solutions.
