Our esteemed client, a globally recognized AmLaw 50 law firm, is in search of a highly qualified Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations Associate Attorney to join their expanding and high-performing Global Finance department. This exceptional team, acknowledged for its top-tier structured credit practice, leads the industry by representing a diverse worldwide client base, including several of the largest asset managers, equity investors, and leading CLO underwriters, such as major investment and commercial banks. The practice has consistently achieved top rankings in Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 US.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Completion of Juris Doctor (JD) from a prestigious law school with a stellar academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in the State of New York.
  • At least 2 years of substantive experience in securitization and structured finance, or a transactional background with a strong inclination to venture into Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior exposure to private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities, although it is not a mandatory requirement.
  • Significant experience in a large law firm is highly preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide counsel on a wide array of structured finance and securitization matters, with a particular emphasis on CLOs.
  • Represent an assorted clientele, including asset managers, equity investors, and underwriters, in the structuring and implementation of intricate financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with a global team to offer cutting-edge legal services in the field of structured finance and capital markets.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory norms while advising clients on innovative financing alternatives.
