Our client, an esteemed AmLaw 50 global law firm, is in search of a highly-qualified Associate Attorney specializing in Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations to join their expanding and high-performing Global Finance team. This team, renowned for its exceptional expertise in structured credit, stands at the forefront of the industry by representing a diverse range of clients on a global scale. Their clientele includes prominent asset managers, equity investors, and leading underwriters of Collateralized Loan Obligations - an impressive client roster that includes major investment and commercial banks. The firm consistently ranks among the top in Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 US.
Candidate Profile:
- Ideal candidate possesses a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school with a notable academic background.
- Candidate must hold an active Bar Admission in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of substantial experience in either securitization or structured finance, or a strong background in transactional work with a desire to transition into Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
- Experience with private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in a large law firm is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory services on a broad spectrum of securitization and structured finance matters, with a specific emphasis on CLOs.
- Represent a diverse clientele, including asset managers, equity investors, and underwriters, in structuring and executing intricate financial transactions.
- Collaborate with a global team to offer cutting-edge legal solutions in the field of structured finance and capital markets.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while providing clients with innovative financing strategies.
