Field Engineer Scheduler (Structures)

📍 Fargo, ND | 💼 Full-Time | Travel & Relocation Required

Are you ready to be on the front lines of construction, driving field operations and project execution? We’re hiring a Structures Scheduler / Field Engineer to support our engineering team and superintendents in managing daily construction activities, scheduling, and project documentation. This role is boots-on-the-ground and critical to the success of major infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with the Superintendent and Project Construction Manager to coordinate and track field operations

• Assist with pre-construction planning, drawings interpretation, and quantity takeoffs

• Maintain project documentation: RFIs, submittals, timecards, drawings, logs, and reports

• Support scheduling with MS Project and Primavera P6

• Prepare sketches, support change orders, and verify work quantities for billing

• Participate in constructability reviews and implement value engineering ideas

• Assist with project close-out and safety documentation

• Take weekly job site photos and help prepare status updates

• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep the project on track

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical training

• 0–3 years of field construction experience (entry-level welcome!)

• Familiarity with MS Project and Primavera P6 (required)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and Procore/Fieldwire experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specs

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Willingness to relocate to Fargo and work primarily in the field

• E.I.T. certification is a plus

• Able to lift, walk, and perform physical tasks on-site
