Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist to join a leading manufacturing company based in Liverpool, NY. This role is a direct hire opportunity within the Advanced Engineering Group, supporting an exciting new project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute new quality processes for components.
• Establish supplier quality protocols to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues related to supplier quality.
• Conduct audits, analyze defect trends, and lead projects for continuous improvement, aiming to eliminate defects and improve supplier processes.
• Implement corrective action processes in response to product or customer complaints and identify root causes.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role in supplier quality assurance.
• Familiarity with PPAP processes and SPC techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including experience with 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to visit supplier sites.
