Systems Administrator – Azure

Location: Saint Joseph, MI

As an Azure Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in the company's technical operations. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting the corporate data center servers, Azure environment, and networks used by the administrative and manufacturing systems. Your proficiency with various Microsoft technologies will ensure efficient support for over 1,500 users.


  • Follow established standards and best practices closely
  • Ensure thorough documentation is maintained
  • Monitor and maintain network and server reliability and integrity, maximizing uptime
  • Identify and resolve issues with on-prem and Azure servers and networks
  • Take primary responsibility for routine tasks involving backups and antivirus systems
  • Perform scheduled test restorations of files and complete systems
  • Act as backup administrator for Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, Active Directory, Linux, and other applications and servers
  • Configure and install server and network hardware
  • Upgrade and patch server and network operating systems and software as required
  • Typically work from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, at the office


  • At least 5 years of experience in systems administration
  • Experience managing Active Directory and Azure AD environments
  • Experience in designing Azure environments and resources
  • Proficiency in creating templates to deploy Azure resources
  • Experience in creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts
  • Knowledgeable in current network and server technology, with the ability to adapt to new technology
  • Ability to work with vendor sales and technical support staff
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems under pressure
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance to St. Joseph, MI or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
