Senior Systems Engineer II or III

Job Tasks:

  • Extract customer and company (IRAD) requirements
  • Create requirements for subassemblies, vendors, and other disciplines
  • Offer technical guidance and support to electrical, software, firmware, and mechanical engineers
  • Develop and maintain system-level documentation, including block diagrams and operational manuals
  • Perform system integration and testing in lab environments
  • Conduct system-level acceptance tests at various locations
  • Collaborate with Senior Systems Engineer and Director of Engineering to ensure architectural compliance
  • Prepare and participate in technical reviews
  • Effectively communicate issues and solutions to internal and external stakeholders


  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Preferably 3-10 years of experience in a technical research, development, or engineering environment
  • Demonstrated competence in engineering application development and/or analysis
  • Experience with electrical test equipment in a lab setting
  • Exposure to leading technical projects for at least 3-5 years
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet customer requirements
  • Proficient in customer interfacing and building technical relationships
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Model Based System engineering is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines (electronics, mechanical, software, management)
  • Experience in imaging processing, power management, aerospace, defense, or medical products
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or equivalent field
