Role Title: Systems Engineer

Reporting To: Engineering Lead

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in highly technical research and development, engineering, or manufacturing environments, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience managing technical projects, including but not limited to schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Demonstrated ability to unify multidisciplinary teams towards a common objective
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Excel and Project
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent
  • Experience collaborating closely with various disciplines such as electronics, mechanical, software, and management

Key Results:

  • Engages with customers and Program Managers to establish program requirements, budgets, and deliverables
  • In collaboration with Program Manager, formulates product specifications that exceed customer expectations
  • Ensures seamless and effective integration of internal subsystems and customer systems
  • Manages programs to ensure on-budget and on-time delivery, in coordination with the Program Manager
  • Maintains 100% adherence to quality standards

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors the technical performance of Company programs
  • Assists in deriving specifications from customer requirements
  • Coordinates project designs, prototype builds and testing, third-party environmental testing, final acceptance validation, and project documentation
  • Ensures alignment with program goals
  • Resolves internal and external ambiguities in the design and development process
  • Identifies and resolves program problems
  • Takes ownership of the engineering processes and serves as the primary quality liaison
  • Performs other assigned activities as required
