As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be leading recruitment efforts, implementing innovative strategies to ensure the hiring of the most exceptional individuals in the market. EXPERIENCE LEADING A HIGH VOLUME RECRUITING TEAM IS A MUST. OPEN TO CANDIDATES WILLING TO RELOCATE-FULL TIME ONSITE POSITION.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Attracting Talent: Develop and execute cutting-edge sourcing strategies that bring in top candidates from diverse platforms, such as social media, job fairs, and community events.
- Exceptional Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the Recruitment Team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Onboarding Expert: Supervise a seamless onboarding process for both hourly and salaried hires, ensuring every new team member starts their journey on the right foot.
- Advocate for Internal Growth: Identify and promote internal candidates with high potential, fostering a commitment to nurturing and advancing talent from within.
- Scout for National Talent: Travel to career fairs across the country to build a pipeline of future talent, including interns, externs, and apprentices.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs, ensuring preparedness to meet any demands.
- Analytical Offer Negotiator: Develop competitive offers and negotiate terms that attract and retain top talent, including relocation, start dates, and temporary housing.
- Executive Support: Provide critical support to the executive team by managing key deliverables, handling complex schedules, and proactively addressing all matters.
- Innovative Thinking: Partner with HR leadership to introduce fresh ideas that drive recruitment success, keeping the organization at the forefront of industry trends.
- Advocate for Training: Lead training for new recruitment staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute to the team's success.
- Metric-Focused Leader: Establish and track key metrics to measure the success of the Recruitment Team, consistently striving for excellence in every aspect of the hiring process.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Cultivate and maintain relationships with schools, alumni groups, and other organizations, representing the organization as the employer of choice in the industry.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- 8-10 years of experience in leadership roles in high-volume recruitment, demonstrating a track record of success.
- Prior experience in high-volume retail or hospitality recruitment is highly desired.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates, colleagues, and executives.
- Deep understanding of employment law, behavioral interviewing techniques, and the complete recruitment lifecycle.
- Willingness to extensively travel to represent the resort at recruitment events.
- A dynamic, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for promoting our values, mission, and culture to potential candidates.
