Tax Manager
Our client, a thriving Wealth Management Firm in Flagstaff, AZ, aims to expand their offerings by including Tax Preparation services for their clients. They are currently seeking a skilled Tax Compliance Manager to oversee this new sector. This role will primarily focus on building client relationships, devising effective tax strategies, and ensuring efficient management of tax practices.

- Client Engagement: Conduct client consultations, facilitate onboarding, and offer strategic tax advice.
- Tax Preparation: Supervise the filing of individual (1040), trust (1041), partnership (1065), and S-Corp (1120S) returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Process Optimization: Streamline workflows, utilize technology to improve processes, and enhance the overall client experience.
- Cross-Training: Conduct monthly training sessions for advisory staff on tax strategies and updates in tax laws.
- Bookkeeping Services: Offer bookkeeping and reconciliation services on an hourly basis to support clients' financial records.
Qualifications:
- Education/License: A CPA certification is required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, including handling complex returns for both individual clients and businesses.
- Skills: Proficient in tax technology and software; strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
