Position Overview:
A global industry leader headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join its expanding team. This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment, allowing employees to work virtually and collaborate in person as needed.

The International Tax Manager will lead the supervision and preparation of foreign-based income tax provisions and manage Pillar 2 tax computations across multiple jurisdictions, supporting global compliance and financial reporting initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and prepare complex quarterly and monthly income tax provisions for foreign operations using OneSource Tax Provision software.

  • Manage Pillar 2 tax calculations based on OECD guidelines and local country rules, including quarterly provision calculations, disclosures, compliance filings, and BEPS documentation.

  • Maintain and enhance internal models and tools for accurate GloBE computations.

  • Oversee senior analysts and collaborate with international personnel to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Assist in managing the accounting aspects of foreign tax audits.

  • Monitor global tax law developments and assess operational impacts.

  • Oversee SOX 404 testing for key tax-related calculations and controls.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations for subordinate staff.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of combined work experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or a large multinational corporation, with a focus on corporate income tax compliance and income tax provisions.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with ASC 740.

  • Strong background in U.S. income tax rules, especially corporate consolidations.

  • Proficiency in OECD guidelines and local jurisdiction requirements for Pillar 2 compliance.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. international tax law for inbound and outbound transactions.

  • Expertise in using OneSource (Tax Provision, UTP, and Workpapers), Orbitax, and Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query, Power BI, Teams, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with BNA, RIA, CCH, and other tax research platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.

  • CPA designation preferred.

  • 7–8+ years of experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate tax departments.

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.


Remote Work Policy:
Employees may work remotely from most U.S. states, excluding California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. (Other exclusions may apply based on business factors.)
