TECH TRANSACTIONS & DATA PRIVACY (INCIDENT RESPONSE) ATTORNEY

A highly qualified and motivated Associate is sought by our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, to join their national Privacy Litigation team. This position is open in all offices, with a preference for Los Angeles.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a JD from a top-tier law school with an outstanding academic record.
  • Mandatory active Bar Admission in the specific state you are applying for.
  • Privacy litigation experience is preferred though not mandatory.
  • Must have significant litigation experience, including the management of all aspects of case work-up and trial preparation.
  • Should possess strong legal research and writing skills, with prior experience in drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
  • Knowledge and experience in federal, state, and international privacy laws will be considered an advantage.
  • Must have the ability to provide practical advice, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ambition, drive, and a team-oriented approach to contribute to the growth and support of the national practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of all aspects of tech transactions and data privacy incident response cases, from case work-up to trial preparation.
  • Review and prepare legal documents, including briefs, complaints, and motions.
  • Offer practical advice on complex tech transactions and data privacy matters.
  • Engage directly with clients and contribute to the development of case strategies.

Why Join? This role offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $230,000 to $390,000, depending on experience. There is a possibility of a performance-based discretionary bonus.
