Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Chemistry (Denver) 1557

Location: Denver, CO

Our company is seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Analytical Chemistry Sales Representative. You will be responsible for selling our company’s innovative microwave-assisted synthesis, digestion, and Raman spectroscopy product lines within the CO, NM, UT, NV, WY, ID, MT, and WA territories. The ideal location for this role is in the Denver area, although other major cities within the territory are also acceptable. The base salary for this position ranges from $78,000 to $83,800 annually, with a strong emphasis on capital equipment sales experience and a preference for industry-specific knowledge. In addition to the base salary, this role offers an uncapped commission plan that pays monthly from the first dollar, as well as bonuses for meeting and exceeding targets. Our company also provides a monthly car/mileage reimbursement, full benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing ones.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
  • Evaluate opportunities, create proposals, and successfully close business deals.
  • Be available to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, analytical instruments, or rheometers (experience preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, along with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Exhibit independence and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as a passport.
