Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Chemistry (Denver) 1637

Location: Denver, CO

Our company is seeking a Technical Sales Representative specializing in Analytical Chemistry. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our line of microwave-assisted synthesis, digestion, and Raman spectroscopy products in the CO, NM, UT, NV, WY, ID, MT, and WA region. While the ideal candidate would be based in the Denver area, we are open to considering candidates from other major cities within the territory. The salary for this position ranges from $78,000 to $83,800 per year, depending on experience in capital equipment sales, with a preference for candidates with specific industry experience. The commission plan is uncapped, starting from the first dollar, and includes bonuses for achieving and surpassing targets. Our company also offers a monthly car/mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits package, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and cultivating new accounts, as well as managing existing accounts effectively.
  • Delivering compelling presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
  • Assessing opportunities, preparing proposals, and closing deals.
  • Availability for frequent overnight travel (up to 75%) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, analytical instruments, or rheometers preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field.
  • Valid driver's license and passport with a clean driving record.
