Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Chemistry (Denver) 1637

Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the role of Analytical Chemistry Technical Sales Representative. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for driving sales of our client’s advanced synthesis, digestion, and spectroscopy product lines in the CO, NM, UT, NV, WY, ID, MT, and WA territories. While the ideal location for this role is in Denver, other major cities within the territory will also be considered.

In this position, you can expect a competitive base salary ranging from $78,000/y to $83,800/y, commensurate with your experience in capital equipment sales. We also offer an uncapped commission plan that rewards you for meeting and exceeding sales targets on a monthly basis. In addition, you will receive a monthly car/mileage reimbursement, full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities, develop proposals, and successfully close business deals.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably within the analytical instruments or rheometers industry.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently with a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid passport.
