Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Instruments (Houston) 1665

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer for our client. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our client's advanced Density and Viscosity and Refractometry measurement instruments. This position will cover the Southern Texas region, with the ideal location being Houston. However, other major cities within the territory are also considered.

The salary for this role ranges from $71,000 to $79,000 per year, depending on your experience in capital equipment sales. We offer an uncapped commission plan that pays monthly, with additional bonuses for meeting and exceeding targets. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to a wide range of audiences, including executives, managers, and technicians.
  • Qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and successfully close business deals.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Strong preference for experience in selling capital equipment or analytical instruments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in a natural sciences or engineering field is preferred.
  • Availability for frequent overnight travel, which may exceed 50% of the time.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
