Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Instruments (Houston, TX) 1597
We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our lines of Density and viscosity, refractometry measurement instruments. Your sales territory will cover the southern United States, and we prefer candidates who are located near Houston but will consider other major cities in the territory.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $76,000 per year, based on experience in capital equipment sales, with specific industry experience being preferred. Our commission plan is uncapped and pays monthly from the first dollar, and there are bonuses for achieving and exceeding targets. We also offer a monthly car allowance and mileage, full benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
- Deliver presentations to various audiences, including executives, managers, and technicians.
- Evaluate opportunities, create proposals, and successfully close deals.
Skills and qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering.
- Willingness to travel overnight frequently (up to 75% of the time).
- Must have a valid driver's license and passport.
