Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Instruments (Los Angeles) 1662

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative to fill a position in our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our range of Density and Viscosity and Refractometry measurement instruments. You will be covering the western USA territory with Los Angeles as the ideal location, but other major cities in the territory are also possible.

The salary range for this position is $74,500 to $84,200 per year and will be based on your capital equipment sales experience, with preference given to those with specific industry experience. Our commission plan is uncapped, pays monthly from the beginning, and includes bonuses for meeting and exceeding targets. We also offer a monthly car allowance and mileage, full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
  • Deliver presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
  • Qualify opportunities, create proposals, and close business deals.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a natural sciences or engineering field is preferred.
  • Availability for regular overnight travel (up to 50% of the time).
  • A valid driver's license and passport are required.
