Technical Sales Rep – Analytical Instruments (Toledo, OH) 1684

Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer to represent their line of Density and Viscosity and Refractometry measurement instruments. This position will cover the IN, KY, MI, OH, and TN territories, with the ideal location based in Toledo. However, other major cities within the territory will also be considered.

The salary range for this role is $69,000 to $78,000 per year, based on capital equipment sales experience, with preference given to those with specific industry knowledge. The commission plan is uncapped, offering monthly payouts from the first dollar and includes bonuses for achieving and surpassing sales targets. Our client also provides a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, full benefits, profit sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Establishing and cultivating new accounts while effectively managing existing ones.
  • Delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
  • Evaluating opportunities, creating proposals, and successfully closing business deals.
  • Willingness to engage in frequent overnight travel (up to 50-60%)

Skills and qualifications:

  • Preference for experience in sales of capital equipment or analytical instruments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.
