Technical Sales Rep (Houston) Torque Rheometers & Extruders 1553
Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their Eastern Region sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth for our client's line of torque rheometers and extruders in the Texas and Oklahoma territory. While ideally based in Houston, TX, other major cities in the territory are also suitable.
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $94,500. The commission plan is uncapped and pays monthly from the beginning, with bonuses for exceeding targets. We also offer a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, as well as full benefits. Additionally, we provide a profit sharing contribution to your 401k and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
- Deliver presentations to small and large audiences, including C-suite executives, production and lab managers, and technicians.
- Qualify opportunities, create and present proposals, and close business deals.
Skills and qualifications you will need:
- Proven experience selling into industries such as rubber, plastics, or food, with a preference for analytical instruments sales.
- Excellent communication skills and strong business acumen.
- Ability to work independently with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
- Flexibility for frequent overnight travel (up to 75%).
- Valid driver's license and passport.
