Technical Sales Rep (Los Angeles) Torque Rheometers & Extruders 1549
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our Western Region sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the CA, AZ, NV, UT, and HI territory for our line of torque rheometers and extruders. The ideal candidate will be based near Los Angeles, CA, but we are open to considering candidates located in other major cities within the territory.
The salary for this position ranges from $88,900 to $100,600. In addition to the base salary, we offer an uncapped commission plan that pays monthly from the first dollar, with bonuses for exceeding targets. We also provide a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, full benefits, a profit sharing contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
- Deliver presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production and lab managers, and technicians.
- Qualify opportunities, develop and present proposals, and successfully close business deals.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Prior experience in sales within the rubber, plastics, or food industries, preferably in analytical instruments sales.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong business acumen.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Preferably, a bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering.
- Willingness to travel overnight frequently, up to 75% of the time.
- A valid driver's license and passport.
