Technical Sales Rep – Rheology (Jackson, MS) 1675

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a valuable member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the field of rheology methods within the AL, MS, LA, and AR territory. This position is ideally located near Jackson, MS, Birmingham, AL, or New Orleans, LA, but other major cities within the territory may be considered. The base salary range for this role is $82,000 to $93,000 per year, depending on experience in capital equipment sales. Specific industry experience is preferred. Our commission plan is uncapped, with monthly payouts from the first dollar, and includes bonuses for exceeding sales targets. Additionally, we offer a monthly car/mileage reimbursement, full benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and cultivating new accounts, as well as effectively managing existing accounts.
  • Delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
  • Evaluating opportunities, preparing proposals, and closing sales.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in capital equipment sales, analytical instruments, or rheometers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field.
  • Availability for frequent overnight travel (50-60%).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
