Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their West Region sales team. This role will focus on driving business growth and promoting rheology methods in Northern California, with an ideal location near San Jose, CA. There may be flexibility in other locations within the territory as well.

The salary for this position ranges from $102,000/year to $115,000/year. In addition, there is an uncapped commission plan that pays monthly and includes bonuses for exceeding targets. We also offer a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, full benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing ones.
• Deliver presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Qualify opportunities, create proposals, and successfully close deals.
• Requires travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong preference for experience in technical sales, particularly in the field of analytical instruments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
