Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their dynamic West Region sales team. As a key member of the team, your main focus will be driving business growth in the field of rheology methods in Northern California, with an ideal location near San Jose, CA. However, other locations within the territory may also be considered.

The salary range for this position is between $102,000/year and $115,000/year. In addition, the commission plan is uncapped, offering monthly payouts from the first dollar, and including bonuses for exceeding targets. We also provide a monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement, full benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, and a generous $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
• Deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and successfully close deals.
• Travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.

Skills and qualifications:

• Prior experience in technical sales, specifically within the field of analytical instruments, is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and with a dedicated commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and valid passport.
