Technical Sales Representative (Corrugate)

  • Residence within a one-hour radius of the designated sites is necessary.

Representatives are eligible for a base salary plus commissions. Once established, individuals may choose to transition to uncapped commissions. There is no relocation option, so candidates must be local and willing to handle their own moving arrangements. Residing within an hour of the sites is acceptable.

The Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to effectively manage current customer accounts and seek out new opportunities in order to meet annual sales targets.

The Sales Representative is in charge of maintaining existing customer relationships, as well as identifying and engaging potential new clients.

Working closely with management, the Sales Representative participates in budget planning, collaborates with Area Operations teams to understand and promote available machine capacity and value-added services, and supports cross-functional teams in executing the sales strategy.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Clearly communicate the sales vision and strategy to identify new opportunities, manage prospects, and develop a strong sales pipeline
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and volume targets to contribute to the organization's annual objectives
  • Consistently utilize the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to manage opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline
  • Navigate the organizational structure of customers and build relationships at multiple levels
  • Manage contractual relationships and negotiate multi-year agreements
  • Achieve results by meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Drive Commercial Excellence by developing new accounts within targeted segments, growing existing accounts, improving margins, and providing support for enterprise sales
  • Leverage internal resources to gain knowledge of market trends and competition
  • Monitor profitability levels to track progress against budgeted targets and analyze monthly financial summaries
  • Understand market dynamics and business drivers that shape long-term commercial strategies and develop strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Establish working relationships with other internal facilities to generate additional revenue streams across the enterprise capabilities
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers in accordance with the overall Sales strategy
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively execute the Sales strategy
  • Identify opportunities for value-added enhancements to improve margins in coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Manage customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and to enhance customer satisfaction

What you'll need:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) Sales (Preference given to candidates with experience in the Manufacturing/service industry)
  • Relevant experience in sales execution and managing a sales pipeline
  • Ability to drive results by influencing individuals from different functional areas
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging presentations to both internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated competence in sales and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
