Technical Sales Representative (Corrugate)

This position offers a base salary with the possibility of commissions. Once established, employees may choose to opt for uncapped commission earnings. Relocation assistance is not available, so candidates must already be local or be prepared to relocate independently. The ideal location is within one hour of the designated sites.

The Corrugated Sales Specialist is responsible for effectively managing existing customer accounts and identifying new prospects to achieve annual sales goals.

This role entails maintaining and nurturing customer relationships, as well as actively seeking out new customer engagements.

The Sales Specialist collaborates with management to assist in budget planning and works closely with the Area Operations teams to promote unused machine capacity and value-added services. Additionally, they support cross-functional teams in implementing the sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Clearly communicate the sales vision and strategy to identify potential leads, manage prospects, and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Achieve or surpass individual sales goals, contributing to the organization's overall annual targets
  • Effectively utilize the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to consistently manage opportunities and the sales pipeline
  • Navigate customer organizational structures and establish relationships at various levels
  • Manage contractual relationships and negotiate multi-year agreements
  • Consistently meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Drive Commercial Excellence by developing new accounts, expanding existing accounts, implementing margin improvement strategies, and providing enterprise sales support
  • Leverage internal resources to gain insights into market trends and competition
  • Monitor profitability to track progress against budgeted targets and analyze monthly financial summaries
  • Understand market dynamics and business drivers that shape long-term commercial strategies, and develop strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Cultivate relationships with other internal facilities to generate additional revenue streams across the enterprise
  • Identify and evaluate prospective customers based on the sales strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of the overall sales strategy
  • Identify opportunities to add value and improve margins through collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing customer engagement throughout the sales process and meeting contractual obligations

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales (preferably in the manufacturing or service industry)
  • Prior experience in sales execution and pipeline management
  • Ability to drive results by influencing individuals in various functions
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated sales competence and financial understanding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
