Technical Sales Representative (Corrugate)

- Residency within an hour of the respective sites is required.
In this role, Sales Engineers qualify for a base salary along with commissions. Once established, they may have the option to transition to uncapped commissions. Please note that there is no relocation option provided, and candidates must either be local or willing to relocate themselves within an hour of the job sites.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for effectively managing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities to achieve annual sales targets. This role involves managing customer relationships, prospecting for new clients, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful sales strategy execution.
- Clearly communicate the sales vision and strategy to identify potential leads, manage prospects, and build a strong sales pipeline
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to the organization's overall annual targets
- Utilize the CRM system (Salesforce.com) to consistently manage opportunities and the sales pipeline
- Build and foster relationships with customers at multiple levels within their organizational structure
- Negotiate multi-year contracts and manage contractual relationships
- Achieve sales targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Drive Commercial Excellence by developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, improving margin plans, and providing enterprise sales support
- Leverage internal resources to stay updated on market trends and competition
- Monitor profitability levels and analyze monthly financial summaries
- Develop strategies to reach long-term company objectives based on market dynamics and business drivers
- Collaborate with internal facilities to create additional revenue streams across the enterprise
- Identify and qualify prospective customers in alignment with the sales strategy
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the overall sales strategy
- Identify value-add opportunities to improve margins in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Manage customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle and ensure contractual obligations are met for customer satisfaction
- 2-5+ years of experience in B2B sales (preferably in the manufacturing or service industry)
- Prior experience in sales execution and pipeline management
- Ability to influence others from different functions to achieve results
- Strong presentation skills for both internal and external audiences
- Demonstrated sales competence and financial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI and QlikView
