Location: Lake Tahoe, CA (Remote – West Coast Region)
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 per year + Commission (Option for Uncapped Commission Once Established)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to support our growing business in the corrugated packaging and capital equipment sector. This is a remote role, and candidates must reside in the West Coast Region—California is not required, but proximity to the coastal territory is preferred.

Important:

  • Corrugated box industry experience is REQUIRED

  • Capital equipment sales experience is REQUIRED

  • This position does not offer relocation assistance—applicants must be local or willing to self-relocate


Position Overview:
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and expanding customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue across your assigned coastal territory. You'll collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to align sales strategies, optimize machine capacity, and deliver exceptional value to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales goals and volume targets

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the corrugated and packaging sector

  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage opportunities and maintain accurate sales records

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across all levels of the organization

  • Negotiate multi-year contracts and manage ongoing client engagements

  • Align with internal operations teams to sell open machine capacity and value-added services

  • Contribute to regional budget planning and sales forecasting

  • Track profitability and analyze monthly financial performance against targets

  • Collaborate across internal departments to identify opportunities for enterprise-wide growth

  • Support commercial excellence through margin improvement and strategic sales execution

  • Stay informed on market trends and customer dynamics to influence long-term commercial strategies


What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience (manufacturing or service industries preferred)

  • Proven success in capital equipment sales and corrugated packaging industry

  • Experience managing full sales cycles, including pipeline management and contract negotiation

  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive sales results

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Financial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

  • Experience using Salesforce.com and reporting tools such as Power BI or QlikView
