Technical Sales – Rheology (Dallas) 1729
Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer specializing in Rheology to join their team in Dallas, TX. This is a vital role within the sales department, where you will be responsible for driving business growth in rheology methods across the North Texas territory. While ideally located in Dallas, other locations within the territory may be considered.
This position offers a base salary range of $87,000/year to $98,000/year, with an uncapped commission plan that pays monthly from the first dollar. In addition, you will receive bonuses for exceeding targets, a monthly car allowance with mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every year.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
- Deliver presentations to small and large audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
- Qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and successfully close business deals.
- Travel up to 50-60%, including overnight trips, for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience in technical sales is required, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in analytical instrument sales.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
