Our client is seeking a Rheology Sales Specialist to join their dynamic West Region sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive business growth in rheology methods across Northern California. The ideal location for this position would be anywhere in the Bay Area to Sacramento, although other locations within the territory may be considered.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,000 to $115,000. In addition, the commission plan is uncapped, with monthly payouts starting from the first dollar earned. Bonuses are also awarded for exceeding targets. We offer a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits package, profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new accounts while effectively managing existing ones.
• Deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and close business deals.
• Travel extensively (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the analytical instruments field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering discipline.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as a passport for potential international travel.
