Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer specializing in Rheology to join their West Region sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the field of rheology methods in Northern California. The ideal location for this position is near San Jose, CA, although other locations within the territory may be considered.

The base salary for this position ranges from $102,000/year to $115,000/year. In addition, there is an uncapped commission plan that pays monthly from the first dollar and includes bonuses for exceeding targets. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, full benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate new accounts while effectively managing existing accounts.
• Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Evaluate opportunities, develop proposals, and successfully close business deals.
• Travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, product demonstrations, and installations.

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong background in technical sales, with a focus on analytical instrument sales preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering discipline.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
