We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for our client’s line of Rheometers in the MN, WI, ND and SD regions. The ideal candidate will preferably be located in or near Minneapolis, although other major cities in the territory will be considered. The salary for this position ranges from $92,000 to $104,000 per year, depending on experience in capital equipment sales, particularly within the industry. As for the commission plan, it is uncapped and pays monthly from the beginning, with additional bonuses available for meeting and exceeding targets. Our client provides a monthly car/mileage reimbursement, full benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities:

• Seek out and establish new accounts, while effectively managing existing ones.
• Deliver engaging presentations to various audiences, including C-suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
• Assess opportunities, develop proposals, and successfully close deals.
  

Skills and qualifications:

• Preferably, 2+ years of experience in capital equipment sales, analytical instruments, or rheometers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities.
• Capable of working independently and with a strong dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field.
• Availability for frequent overnight travel, estimated at 50-60%.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a passport.
