This opportunity is for a full-time Technical Support Field Service Advisor position at a well-established company in the Brown Deer, WI area. This position does not require any travel. As a Technical Support Field Service Advisor, your main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Communicating and interacting with various vendors and customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Providing responsive technical support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Supporting and managing project workflow effectively
  • Collaborating with customers, as well as the parts and service department, to resolve any issues or problems
  • Creating and managing work orders and invoices
  • Billing and invoicing customers accurately and timely
  • Providing support to service managers when needed
  • Participating in service scheduling, if necessary
  • Managing Return Merchandise Authorizations efficiently
  • Assisting in scheduling training sessions for service employees
  • Providing training to other team members as needed

To qualify for this role, the successful candidate must have the following background:

  • Four years of experience in technical support or field service, specifically in the areas of hydraulics, drives, PLCs, mechanical, and electrical
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in customer support for at least four years
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Stable work history demonstrating consistency and commitment
  • Must be a US citizen or possess a green card
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute from the Brown Deer, WI area
