Technician II – HVAC

We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Industrial HVAC Technician II in Baton Rouge, LA, a crucial role in providing customers with the necessary electricity, heating, and cooling.

Your responsibilities:

  • Your primary work location will be our service center in Baton Rouge, LA
  • Expect daily local travel in your company vehicle, with possible overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repair activities on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors
  • Diagnose equipment failures both on-site and at our shop, and perform necessary repairs
  • Set up and operate equipment at our shop and customer sites, either independently or in collaboration with other technicians

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4-6 years of experience working on Industrial HVAC equipment, Chillers, or in a Chemical plant, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs
  • Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, as well as interpret and understand schematics
  • Depending on customer requirements, you may need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or a valid DOT medical card
  • Capability to lift and move objects weighing less than 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license
