Executive Compensation Manager

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Executive Compensation Manager to oversee and manage the organization's executive compensation programs. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with compensation laws and regulations while providing exceptional support to executives and employees. This is a full-time position located in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the entire executive compensation process, including designing, implementing, and communicating compensation programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the compensation management system.
  • Prepare and distribute communications and materials related to executive compensation programs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for executive compensation inquiries and manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations, including reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit necessary filings to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to develop and manage the executive compensation budget, provide financial forecasts, and perform regular reconciliations.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with legal counsel and finance teams to address any executive compensation matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in executive compensation laws and regulations.
  • Drive process improvements in executive compensation administration to optimize scalability with organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing executive compensation programs, preferably in a publicly traded company.
  • Thorough understanding of executive compensation principles, including base salary, bonuses, and equity-based incentives.
  • Proficiency in compensation management software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with executives, employees, and external stakeholders.
