Compensation and Benefits Administrator
Our client is in search of a qualified Compensation and Benefits Administrator to oversee and manage their compensation and benefits programs. This role will involve handling the day-to-day administration of compensation and benefits plans, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing support to employees and executives. This is a full-time position located in either Morgantown, WV or Houston, TX.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire compensation and benefits process, including implementation, modifications, evaluations, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the compensation and benefits management system.
  • Prepare and communicate employee communications regarding compensation and benefits programs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for any queries related to compensation and benefits, and establish and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits, including reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit necessary filings to regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Work closely with legal counsel and finance teams on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Stay updated on changes to laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits.
  • Implement best practices to improve compensation and benefits administration processes and support organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Human Resources, or Finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing compensation and benefits programs, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in compensation and benefits management software and advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
