SENIOR ASSOCIATE COUNSEL - TRADE REMEDIES AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION LITIGATION

Our esteemed client, a prominent national law firm listed in the AmLaw 100, is seeking a highly talented and motivated Senior Associate Counsel to join their Practice Group specializing in International Trade Commission Section 337 Litigation and Trade Remedies in Washington, D.C. This exceptional position provides the opportunity to work on intricate trade regulatory issues in a vibrant and collaborative setting.

Candidate Profile:

• Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school, with a remarkable academic record.
• Must be admitted to practice law in Washington, DC.
• Bring 6+ years of substantial experience dealing with trade regulatory matters, with a background in either government or private sector legal practice.
• Extensive expertise in export controls, economic sanctions, and strategies related to competition and supply chains.
• If possible, specialized knowledge in sectors such as manufacturing, critical minerals, materials, and energy.
• Possess exceptional skills in research, writing, and analytical reasoning.

Main Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in matters of Section 337 litigation before the International Trade Commission and other trade remedy cases.
• Manage complex trade regulatory issues, including export controls, sanctions, and supply chain strategies.
• Offer strategic counsel to clients across various industries, including manufacturing and energy.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to expand the national practice.
• Navigate intricate subject matters and counsel clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.
