About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Logistics Manager to lead and evolve the entire DTC logistics and supply chain operation from their Chicago-based HQ. This is a key strategic leadership role that blends operational execution with big-picture thinking to drive cost efficiency, service excellence, and scalable growth. You’ll oversee company-run and third-party logistics, build strong vendor partnerships, and lead internal and external teams to ensure smooth and profitable fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Own and evolve the company’s end-to-end DTC logistics strategy aligned with broader company goals

• Build and lead a high-performance team across warehousing, logistics, and 3PL management

• Partner across departments (Finance, IT, Planning & Allocation) to execute scalable logistics initiatives

• Implement strategic growth initiatives to enhance operational agility, technology integration, and financial performance

Operations & Optimization

• Oversee transportation operations (internal & 3PL), ensuring compliance, cost control, and service excellence

• Drive continuous improvement in fulfillment, warehouse operations, and logistics execution

• Monitor and report key performance metrics—cost per container, carton, and delivery times

• Manage carrier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure third-party service accountability

• Lead cost reduction efforts and increase shipping/service efficiencies

Vendor & Budget Management

• Set vendor performance standards and lead quarterly business reviews

• Manage logistics-related budgets, freight KPIs, and capital investment plans

• Oversee invoice validation and issue resolution in partnership with payment processing teams
