Trust Administration Paralegal
Please note: This position requires employees to work on-site five days a week at one of the following offices: San Rafael, Oakland, or Westlake Village, CA.

Job Description
- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements throughout the trust administration process.
- Prepare various trust administration documents, such as certifications of trust, trustee notifications, and affidavits.
- Manage real property transfers, including the preparation of grant deeds, affidavits, and related assessor forms.
- Efficiently coordinate with trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals during the trust administration process.
- Create accurate estate valuation reports, asset inventories, and trust funding documentation.
- Aid in trust distributions, including the preparation of distribution summaries, waivers, and receipts.
- Assist with the drafting and filing of probate-related documents as necessary.
- Maintain precise client records, case notes, and deadlines using legal case management software.
- Provide administrative support such as scanning, filing, and organization of trust administration documents.
- Participate in regular team meetings and engage in ongoing legal education.
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate is required.
- Preferably, a minimum of three years of experience in trust administration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of estate planning, trust administration, and related legal procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- California Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain.
