Trust and Estate Paralegal
A well-established Law Firm is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal specializing in Trust and Estate Administration to join their esteemed team!
The suitable candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in trust and estate administration, with a firm grasp of probate law (familiarity with New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate processes would be advantageous). As the Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal, your duties will include overseeing all aspects of estate and trust administration. This entails managing probate procedures, maintaining regular communication with clients, financial advisors, and accountants, preparing federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings, ensuring proper distribution of estate assets and trust funding, handling deed work, and more.
Excellent communication skills are a must for this position as you will be in frequent contact with clients. Moreover, strong numerical abilities are essential to accurately handle the financial aspects of the role. Prior experience with estate tax software like ONESOURCE/Fast Tax, as well as proficiency in HotDocs and Microsoft Word, is preferred.
As a crucial member of the team, organizational skills are vital for prioritizing multiple responsibilities. The ability to work harmoniously within a team is equally important for success in this role. While a degree or certificate in paralegal studies is preferred, candidates who have completed JD/paralegal programs will also be considered.
