Trust and Estate Paralegal
A reputable Law Firm in Boca Raton, FL is currently seeking a highly skilled Trusts and Estates Legal Assistant to join their team!
We are looking for an ideal candidate who has a minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate administration. You should have a strong understanding of probate (knowledge of New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate is a plus). As the Trusts and Estates Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of estate and trust administration. This includes handling probate procedures, regularly communicating with clients, financial planners, and accountants, preparing federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings, distributing estate assets and trust funding, and handling deed work, among other tasks.
You must possess exceptional communication skills as you will be frequently interacting with clients. It is also necessary to have strong mathematical abilities to accurately handle financial aspects of the job. Proficiency in estate tax software such as ONESOURCE/Fast Tax, HotDocs, and Microsoft Word is preferred.
In this role, organizational skills are crucial as you will need to prioritize multiple responsibilities. The ability to work well within a team is also critical for success in this position. While a college degree or paralegal certificate is preferred, we are open to considering candidates who have completed JD/paralegal programs.
