Location: New York, NY
Our Client is a well-respected law firm known for its exceptional reputation in the legal industry. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney specializing in Estate Planning to join their team at their New York office.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Estate Planning and preferably hold an LL.M degree in Taxation or Estate Planning. It is required to have New York Bar admission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer top-notch legal advice and services to clients on matters involving tax planning, trusts, estates, wills, and probate.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on intricate tax and estate planning issues.
- Create estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Represent clients in tax disputes in state and federal courts.
- Collaborate with partners and other attorneys to develop effective case strategies that best serve the interests of the clients.
Requirements:
- Must have New York bar admission.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience practicing Estate Planning law.
- Preferred LL.M degree in Taxation or Estate Planning.
- Admission to the Bar in one or more states where our firm has an office and where the candidate intends to reside.
- Exceptional academic achievements with excellent oral and written communication skills.
