UI / iOS Engineer

Position: UI / iOS Engineer
Type: Full Time (W-2)
Location: San Mateo, CA (On-site for 2-4 days)
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 + 0.25% - 0.5% Equity

About the Role:
We are looking for a talented UI/iOS Engineer who is proficient in iOS development and has a passion for creating engaging user interfaces. In this role, you will utilize Swift and SwiftUI to build and enhance UI concepts for macOS and iOS platforms. You will closely collaborate with design and product teams to deliver elegant and functional user interfaces.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is adept at adapting to changing project requirements. Knowledge of Objective-C is a plus but not required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Iterate and prototype new UI features for macOS and iOS using Swift and SwiftUI.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement intuitive and functional user interfaces.

• Adapt to evolving requirements while maintaining high-quality code.

• Optimize and debug existing applications to improve user experience and functionality.

• Explore and integrate new frameworks and technologies to enhance development efficiency.

Work Policy:

• On-site: 2-4 days in our San Mateo office.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI with a strong understanding of UI development principles for macOS and iOS.

• 5+ years of practical experience in iOS and macOS development.

• At least 3 years of experience at a reputable tech company with a strong engineering culture.

• Proven experience in publishing apps on the Apple App Store and Mac App Store.

• Strong sense of design and user experience, with a drive to create intuitive and engaging UIs.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with rapid prototyping and adapting to evolving project needs.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Objective-C is a bonus but not required.
