JOB TITLE: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
LOCATION: Lexington, KY

Qualifications:
- Holds an Associates Degree in Radiology or Ultrasound
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S)
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time position with two scheduling options:
- Option 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8am to 5:30pm
- Option 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 7am to 7pm
The position requires being on call one day per week and one weekend per month. The salary range is $48K to $72K per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Additional Information:
- Reports to the Director of Radiology
- Receives patients, explains the procedure, and ensures their comfort
- Provides imaging services to patients of all ages
- Operates ultrasound equipment for diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures adhering to established standards
- Maintains equipment, supplies, and organizes work area
- Keeps accurate records, assists with scheduling ultrasound appointments, and ensures smooth patient flow
- Assists radiologists with interventional procedures as required, such as paracentesis, needle aspirations/biopsy.
