Evening Shifts
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm, alternating weekends, and holiday rotation

Salary Range: $79,788.35 - $119,682.23

Summary of Position:

Perform routine and specialized imaging, diagnostic, and medical sonograms. Prepare patients for procedures and assist Radiologists as needed. Operate and maintain equipment. Develop/process films as required. Adhere to established radiology standards. Pursue continuing education. Take responsibility for assigned duties and areas. Provide excellent customer service in line with hospital-wide programs. Perform additional duties such as quality assurance as assigned.

Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follow and comply with the Company Performance Standards, Policies, and Behaviors
  2. Perform all other assigned duties
  3. Correctly position and prepare patients for specific examinations, ensuring proper documentation
  4. Take ownership of designated areas/procedures and produce high-quality images
  5. Assist physicians during procedures when necessary
  6. Perform equipment quality assurance and calibrations, order supplies
  7. Be available for emergency procedures and on-call shifts as needed
  8. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and accessories
  9. Process films or print pictures as required
  10. Perform routine office duties such as answering phones and documenting information
  11. Coordinate patient transportation
  12. Show films to radiologists and communicate reports to attending physicians
  13. May serve as an instructor or preceptor
  1. Interact professionally and courteously with all personnel/staff
  2. Introduce and educate patients and family members about ordered examinations
  3. Provide age-specific care for neonates/newborns, pediatrics/adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  4. Perform all other assigned duties
  5. Duties and hours may be modified to accommodate department or hospital needs

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Certified ultrasound program completion or Limited Permit/Certificate (ARDMS eligibility after 1 year and 1000 clinical hours post-graduation).

Prior experience preferred. Must fulfill continuing education requirements for certification maintenance.

ARDMS required for ACR accreditation compliance after January 1, 2019

BCLS (CPR) certification preferred
