TITLE: Ultrasound Technician

What we are seeking:
Completion of an Associate's Degree in Radiology or Ultrasound
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with a specialization in Sonography (S)
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification

Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time position with two scheduling options available: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 8am-5:30pm or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 7am-7pm. Each position requires the technician to be on-call one day per week and one weekend per month.
The salary range is between $48,000 and $72,000 per year, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Additional Information:
This position reports directly to the Director of Radiology.
The Ultrasound Technician will welcome patients, explain the procedure, and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
They will provide imaging services to patients of all age groups using various modalities.
The technician will operate ultrasound equipment to conduct clinical diagnostic ultrasound examinations and routine invasive procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
They will be responsible for maintaining equipment, organizing the work area, and managing supplies.
Accurate record-keeping, scheduling of ultrasound appointments, and ensuring smooth patient flow are also part of the role.
The technician will assist radiologists with interventional procedures as directed, such as paracentesis, needle aspirations, and biopsies.
