Our client, a leading Global Automotive R&D Firm, is currently seeking a Validation/CAE Engineer for their North American HQ located in Dayton, OH.

Validation/CAE Engineer (job description)

· In this role, you will be responsible for developing and documenting modeling plans for the engineering team. Additionally, you will implement new processes and tools using FEA and computer engineering software.

· You will also be responsible for overall development, testing, and evaluation of products to meet both client and internal requirements.

· Collaborating with design and product development teams, you will identify and report any product problems or failures to improve product performance.

· You will work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer and company requirements.

· Developing trust, promoting teamwork, and fostering continuous improvement will be essential in this role.

· You may also be assigned to support multiple projects to ensure customer satisfaction and meet quality standards and procedures.

MUST HAVE’S

Education:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in FEA software such as Hypermesh, Nastran, and Abaqus
• Strong understanding of FEA principles and methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills Desired:

• Experience in interpreting 3D and 2D drawings
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems
• Knowledge of metal fatigue analysis
