Vascular Ultrasound Specialist

$80,000 - $120,000 per year + Relocation Assistance + $15,000 Signing Bonus + Full Benefits

Conducts non-invasive vascular ultrasound scans with a focus on safety, compassion, and clinical effectiveness. Must have proficiency in TEE, Definity contrast, bubble studies, echocardiograms, and stress echo's.

This is a full-time position that may involve occasional travel to outreach Heart and Vascular Clinics and participation in call rotations.

Requirements

• Current certification as an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) by ARDMS or as an RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) by CCI
• RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) certification is a desirable asset
• Prior experience in performing complete venous and arterial ultrasound examinations, including venous insufficiency evaluations
• Basic understanding of medical necessity in relation to vascular ultrasound tests, including obtaining orders from referring physicians and verifying proper indications
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and display respect to all patients
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Friendly, trustworthy, and able to create a positive work environment
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Schedule

• Work 5- 8 hour days (Monday – Friday), with occasional travel to outreach clinics and participation in call rotations

Shift Differential

• Receive a $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm
• Receive a $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am
• Receive a $4.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday
• Annual Bonus based on individual and organizational performance
