About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Vice President of Water/Wastewater Engineering to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive the strategy, delivery, and growth of major municipal infrastructure projects across Central Texas, including for clients like the City of Austin. You'll lead a team of top-tier engineers while shaping the future of public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership – Set the vision and growth strategy for the Water/Wastewater division

• Technical Oversight – Serve as a senior technical authority for treatment systems, pipelines, and master planning

• Project Management – Oversee large-scale municipal W/WW projects with full responsibility for scope, budget, and timelines

• Client Engagement – Maintain and grow relationships with public agencies and municipalities

• Team Development – Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and project managers

• Quality Assurance – Ensure all work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Texas PE license (required)

• Minimum 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience

• Leadership experience managing technical teams and multi-million-dollar projects

• Expertise with City of Austin or Texas municipal projects is a plus

• Strong business acumen, proposal development, and contract negotiation skills
