Position: Vice President of Defense Manufacturing Training Program

Location: Reidsville, NC

Our company, located in Reidsville, NC, is seeking a Vice President to provide strategic oversight and management for our Defense Manufacturing Training Program. As a medium-sized business, we specialize in defense manufacturing and are in need of a dynamic individual to lead and ensure the success of our training program.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the training, support, and placement of students with companies involved in the research, design, production, delivery, and maintenance of military weapons systems, subsystems, and components.

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive leadership experience, strong budget management skills, and a blend of entrepreneurial expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide visionary leadership

- Develop and execute strategies to foster program growth

- Establish sustainability and continuous improvement for the program

- Lead and mentor the leadership team within the department

- Develop strong relationships with industry and community partners

- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders

- Manage project milestones and deliverables

- Guide the development and execution of recruitment, training, and job placement strategies

- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure alignment with industry goals and program objectives

- Provide regular updates to company executives

- Ensure compliance with program requirements, contracts, and regulatory standards

REQUIREMENTS

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Workforce Development, or a related field

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in workforce development or education management

- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role

- Proven experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships

- Track record of successfully leading large-scale training or workforce development programs

- Experience in the defense sector is preferred

- Technical knowledge in the area of manufacturing is a plus

- Excellent presentation skills when engaging senior-level audiences.

Additional REQUIREMENTS

- This is not a remote position - 4 days per week on-site

- Due to contracts with the United States Government, candidates must be either US Citizens or US Permanent Residents

- Minimal relocation package will be provided
